Who Is John Genovesi & Why Am I In The Real Estate Business?

I am a lifetime Rockland County resident and know Rockland Real Estate. In 1988 I graduated Pace University with a Finance Major and an Accounting Minor. I studied Marketing, Economics, Principles of Investment, Money, Banking...Etc. The following years I worked in the markets. Options, Stocks etc..
In 1995 I read a book called "Inside Real Estate" by Sonny Bloch. I proceeded to devour 10 real estate books that year. I found a passion in Real Estate. You can build wealth with Real Estate. You can generate income from Real Estate. Children grow up and will always remember the home they grew up in.
During the following years I purchased an 11 unit building in Suffern, a 5 unit building in Suffern, a store with 4 apartments above it in Suffern, a four family house in Nyack, a seven unit building in Haverstraw, a four family building in Haverstraw, a four family building in West Haverstraw, my own home plus other properties. Since 1995 I have been buying and selling for my own portfolio.
In 2000 I became a Full Time Real Estate Investor. During this process one thing became abundantly clear through my dealing with Real Estate Agents; I was more educated by way of a Finance Degree and better suited to this industry than any experienced agent I ever met! I found out really fast as a consumer of Real Estate Services, I was never thrilled with the quality and professionalism I was getting. I decided I found my calling!
In 2008 I went to NYU in Manhattan and took only Real Estate classes.
Today, I am considered an expert in my field. This is not a claim I make loosely. A quick snapshot of my recent awards and achievements will attest to the high level of commitment and determination that I have for my clients.
