Mark Goodner

The Goodner Home Team is a family-owned and operated business located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, New Braunfels. As proud members of the Keller Williams Heritage family, the team is led by principals Mark and Catherine Goodner. Their mission is rooted in prioritizing personal service and delivering exceptional quality, ensuring each client’s property receives meticulous care and attention throughout every step of their real estate journey.

MEET MARK
Mark is a seasoned and trusted real estate expert with deep roots in the New Braunfels community. Licensed since the age of 18, Mark began his career as a property manager and apartment locator while earning a BA in Economics and an MBA. He then spent 30 successful years in corporate sales, earning numerous accolades and working closely with senior executives. Throughout his career, Mark nurtured a passion for real estate by investing in and flipping homes during corporate relocations. Despite his travels, this native Texan always knew there was no place like home.

Over the last 20 years, Mark has become an integral part of New Braunfels, dedicating his time to community development. From 2007 to 2013, he served as City Councilman for District 2 and Mayor Pro Team, spearheading impactful projects such as:

• The new City Hall building
• Landa Park Aquatic Center and Golf Course improvements
• Fischer Park/Mission Hill Park
• Fire stations and infrastructure upgrades

Mark was instrumental in shaping major neighborhoods, working closely with developers to bring to life communities like:

• The Preserve
• Pecan Crossing
• Newcombe Estates
• Town Creek
• Cotton Crossing
• Gruene Vineyard

He also served as the first Chairman and President of the Creekside TIRZ, which introduced key developments such as Resolute Hospital, Buc-ee's and major retailers to the area. A strong advocate for service, Mark has held leadership roles as President of the Southbank HOA and currently serves as President of the Newcombe Estates POA. He also volunteers with the Oakwood Church Men’s Ministry. In his free time, Mark enjoys playing tennis and pickleball.

MEET CATHERINE
Catherine’s love for the Hill Country began in 1985. While studying for her BBA in Marketing, she earned her real estate license and worked with a residential property management investment company—where she met Mark. After college, she focused on raising their family and remodeling homes throughout their corporate relocation journey.

Catherine has been staging homes long before it became a recognized industry standard. After years of success transforming her own homes and helping early clients, she became an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) and launched C Good Staging, LLC in 2006. Since then, Catherine and her team have helped hundreds of clients enhance their spaces, consistently delivering faster sales and higher price points. Her staging services often pay for themselves, and her clients range from investors and builders to top-producing real estate agents. Catherine effortlessly transitions from working on $250,000 investor flips to curating $1,000,000+ Parade Homes.

As a Realtor, Catherine combines her creativity and exceptional communication skills to give clients a competitive edge. She offers complimentary staging services for all listing clients, leveraging her extensive inventory of furnishings and decor. For buyers, she provides free design consultations to help them envision their future homes. As a Master Color Consultant, Catherine has a remarkable eye for paint, color trends, furniture arrangement, and styling.

Catherine’s warm, enthusiastic personality and genuine interest in people make her a delight to work with. Passionate about giving back, she serves on the leadership team of NB Women GO, leadership team of the Braunfels Foundation Trust, and volunteers at Oakwood Church. In her free time, Catherine enjoys working out, playing tennis, reading, and traveling.
