Viola Taliaferrow

Viola Taliaferrow is a trusted Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker with Keller Williams (KW), the largest and fastest-growing real estate technology franchise in the world. A real estate professional since 2004, she is no stranger to the industry. Born to a successful real estate investor in Brooklyn, the Taliaferrow name has been synonymous with real estate for nearly a century. While the art of negotiation was a tactical lesson at the dinner table, the real lesson learned was that real estate is built on relationships, trust, and emotions. Real estate was in her DNA.

A graduate of both CUNY and Polytechnic University, Viola began her professional career in data communications, managing network operations, and technical support, rising through a series of promotions. She became the backbone of support for the Global Account stakeholders, who managed the top brands in the world. In addition to her technological skills, she measured financial impact and ROI through ongoing cost analysis. Trained as a Cisco Certified Network Associate and a PMP (Project Management Professional), Viola was even asked to volunteer her expertise at the Bronx Museum, acting as a Network Engineer - and did so for two years.

Technically savvy, with a deep understanding of networks, systems, and protocols, Viola was successful in the industry; however, she longed for greater personal fulfillment. She sought out what was in her DNA all along: real estate.

Viola started her career in the real estate industry with Weichert Realtors in 2004 and joined KW in 2007. Now having passed the NYS Broker licensing exam, Viola is an Associate Broker for KW and building her own team of agents. Her reach is wide; however, she specializes in lower Westchester County, The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.

Viola’s work ethic, coupled with her extensive real estate knowledge, provides a comprehensive experience for her clients. She educates on the process, and assists with financial analysis from benefit-cost ratios and Present Value assumptions, to ROI. She researches neighborhoods, provides comparables, and investigates all applicable planning, zoning codes, and regulations. She becomes the liaison between you, the buyer/seller/sponsor, mortgage broker, appraiser, and all other stakeholders. Viola is a strong negotiator on both price and contractual terms, building consensus while always protecting her client’s best interest. Using a realtor is invaluable in this process from research to navigating complicated legal paperwork.

This level of commitment has helped build a remarkable track record of delivering results. Viola has been recognized ten times as a 100% Multi-Million Dollar Club Award Winner and even earned the Quadruple Gold Award in 2016. Viola served as the ALC Chair of Career Development and Technology for KW in 2013, 2015, and 2016.

Viola is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the NY State Association of Realtors (NYSAR); is a Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist, Certified Distressed Property Expert, and an Accredited Buyer Agent; and belongs to both the One Key and the NYS Multiple Listing Services.

In her spare time, she volunteers for her local community on the planning board and steering committees for the Town of Greenburgh. She prides herself on being honest, trustworthy, and knowledgeable in the real estate market.
