Amanda Blanton

Amanda Blanton was born in Arlington, TX in 1975. She lived in Texas, California, and Kansas before settling with her family in Georgia. Amanda worked her way through her schooling waiting tables and working for the Disney Catalog. She advanced from order entry to customer service and on to technical support. Amanda married her husband in 1996 and in June of 1997 they welcomed their first daughter, Mikayla. Sophie was born 4 1/2 years later. Amanda worked in purchasing for over nine years. Her duties included vendor, project manager, and customer liaison, accounting, purchasing, inventory control, and company projections. Amanda took a turn in community association management as an assistant then got her CAM license but eventually realized that while being a CAM might be rewarding she felt called to upgrade her license and join the Real Estate Wise team at Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners and work side by side with her husband. Amanda is blessed to call this her work. She feels that all of the customer service, problem solving, and negotiation experience has given her a unique skill set to work from. In her free time Amanda volunteers at her church working in the children's ministry. She volunteered for years at a local school library helping kids find books and fostering a love of reading. She reads almost every night before bed to relax. Some of her favorites are Jane Austen or Tolkien (although she developed a fondness for the young adult genre while doing her volunteer work). She loves following the Kansas City Royals whenever possible. She is guilty of shamelessly bragging on her very talented daughters to anyone who might show interest in the subjects of young artists or riding horses so BEWARE!
