Ruth Ratner

Some REALTORS® stand out from the crowd. Ruth is one of a kind in a demanding business, juggling work, family and community service. As a daughter of a local developer, her first job was that of a laborer in one of many neighborhoods in town. She credits her success to the role models and mentors in her life in addition to the strong local and family ties she maintains. Ruth has a B.S. from the University of Vermont Business Management School. Additionally, Ruth involves herself with various associations and organizations. She earned her CRS designation in 2000 (only 5% of all REALTORS® share). As a member for many years of the Home Builders Association of New Haven County, this is where her passion is as a New Construction Specialist. Professionally she is active with the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce and is a graduate of Cheshire Leadership 2004. She is also on Cheshire's School/Business Partnership Council. She and her family have volunteered for many years at Ronald McDonald House. She's a Board member at Temple Beth David and a PTA member who volunteers at her daughters' schools. Everyday gives us a choice to "take on the day". Her attitude and spirit is positive and persevering. In return, Ruth enjoys mentoring and masterminding with others to balance freedom and independence in our career as REALTORS®.
