Kayla was raised in Whitehouse, Texas - a small East Texas town outside of Tyler. She attended Texas State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and Communication. Kayla soon embarked on a successful career as a Manager in the Austin, Texas music industry.

After the birth of their second child, Kayla and her husband Haden moved back to East Texas to be closer to family. Kayla obtained her Texas Real Estate License in 2019 as an additional income stream for her family. She quickly saw the opportunity to build Riggs Property Group at and chose to pursue real estate full-time, earning Rookie of the Year in 2020. Today, Riggs Property Group is a $25 Million team of top producers, that has placed as the #1 Team for Closed Volume and Units in 2021 and 2022 at Keller Williams Realty Tyler.

Kayla's accomplishments include earning membership into KW Luxury, being featured as a Rising Star in Real Producers Magazine, being nominated for ETX View's 40 Under Forty Women in the Business and Real Estate categories. Kayla also served Keller Williams Tyler as a member of the Associate Leadership Council for two years.
