За мен
Not everyone has the good fortune to find a second career that is fun and rewarding. I'm one of the lucky ones. I was a teacher for many years, but I think real estate was always in my blood. Both of my parents were licensed real estate agents, so I observed that world from a young age. Then my husband and I did some dabbling with rentals and renovations in the early 2000s, and I was hooked.
While I was still teaching I got my real estate license, and after retiring I was able to go full time into real estate. I've never looked back. I love every aspect of the real estate profession, from working with first-time buyers to helping owners list their homes so they can move on to their next adventure. There is always something to learn, and every day is different.
My background as a DeKalb County teacher gives me a unique perspective, especially when working with families with children. My experience renovating houses left me with good basic knowledge about how houses are put together. (I won't let a buyer put a house under contract before we check out the crawlspace for ourselves.) Finally, as a 5th-generation Atlantan, I can proudly call myself a true native of this beautiful city. I know Atlanta very well, having explored all of its neighborhoods over a period of many years.
I enjoy hiking and canoeing, singing in my church choir, researching my family history, and reading great books to discuss with the women's book club I have been a member of for over 20 years. I have a sweet & funny husband, a son studying to be a clinical psychologist, and a charming little poodle mix named Gus.
