To get to the cottage from the off-street parking area, you have to go down 2 full flights of stairs (30 steps) and across footbridge over the Gilbert & Bennett brook. Current tenant is in the process of moving out so it is quite cluttered and messy. Occupancy most likely mid-April because the landlord will have some items to take care of: a) replace the large picture window in the living room with a smaller one due to wood rot, b) interior painting as needed and c) exterior painting as needed when weather permits. One trained cat is allowed;other pets will be considered and if allowed, the rental amount goes up $100/mo. Good credit and references are a must.
