I pay attention to neighborhoods served by top rated schools in the Austin MSA, particularly in the NW and Round Rock. BUT I will work for food. I've helped buyers as far south as Buda (+30 min) and listed property as far outside of the metro as Seguin (1.5 hours away).

I cut my teeth in the rural central Maine market where long distances were the norm and slower market speed and greater diversity of property made pricing challenging.
