Jim Lea

Jim Lea has been a trusted leader in Greater Chattanooga real estate since 2002, when he and his wife, Monique, launched The Lea Team, consistently ranked among the Top 10 in the region. He later co-founded the local Keller Williams Realty franchise, which has grown into the #1 real estate presence in the area.
Known for his hands-on approach, Jim leads The Lea Team with respect, humility, and authenticity—ensuring every client benefits from thoughtful strategy, data-driven insights, and deep neighborhood expertise. His work with builders such as Collier Construction, Pickett Homes, and GreenTech Homes also expanded into town planning and community development, producing landmark projects across Chattanooga, Red Bank, St. Elmo, Harrison, and Soddy Daisy.
Today, Jim continues to guide The Lea Team while also leading Thousand Hills Co., his development company dedicated to building thoughtfully designed, community-focused projects. Thanks to Thousand Hills’ role as a development company with extensive land holdings soon to become new homes, Jim can offer The Lea Team’s clients exclusive pocket listings and unique opportunities.
Beyond real estate, Jim and Monique are celebrating 25 years of marriage, raising three children, and enjoying family life. In his downtime, Jim is an avid follower of football (soccer)—a passion he tracks with the same energy and focus he brings to his work.
